LOOFAH: Although it looks like it comes from the sea, loofah is actually a relative of the cucumber, and grows on vines. When fully grown, the loofah is cut down and left in the sun to dry, leaving just the hard skeleton, which becomes one of nature’s finest natural exfoliators. Loofah is farmed in many countries, with the different varieties, soil and conditions producing vast differences in quality. OPAL LONDON uses only Chinese loofah, which is the most consistent and hardest wearing in the world.
